Attractions

Mount Graham is the highest peak in the Pinaleño Mountains and one of the highest in Arizona. Mt. Graham International Observatory offers three large telescopes including the Large Binocular Telescope (one of the world's highest resolution and most technologically advanced telescopes).

Higher Education

Transportation

Graham County is home to key sites with direct rail access to the mainline of the Arizona Eastern Railroad - a shortline tying the copper-rich mining regions of Arizona to the Union Pacific transcontinental line to the south. 


Truck service is also available linking Graham County with the major markets of Southern California and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Phoenix is within quick reach via US 70, while US 191 links the region to I-10, which connects the east and west coasts of the United States.
